My best family trip

My best trip was when I visited the north of Chile with my family to spend the national holidays, we stayed in a nice cottage in Carrizal Bajo which is in Atacama Region.

The day after we arrived, we went to visit the surroundings of the area, and we found a beautiful beach and an incredible landscape. Also, we saw a wetland with many different species of birds and listened to their wonderful songs.

The main attraction of this trip was to see the desert bloom, because it was a very rainy year, so we could see an incredible variety of flowers of different colors. We spent hours looking at every detail of the landscape, so we came back very late at the cottage. 

At night we were able to observe the stars shining in the sky which looked very spectacular. I was very impressive because I had never seen the night sky so clearly.

I totally recommend visiting the north of Chile to see the desert bloom, because it is an opportunity rarely given and it is worth it. 🍅
